In addition to a branch location on Indian Meridian Road in Pauls Valley, they opened a new facility in Elmore City in February 2011. In March 2011, First National Bank of Davis was purchased by Pauls Valley National Bank along with the land across the street from the former bank location. A brand new facility was built becoming The First National Bank of Davis, a branch of Pauls Valley National. The former bank location is now the city hall and police department thanks to the generous donation by Pauls Valley National Bank to the City of Davis. For more than one hundred years and five ancestral generations, the Grimmett family has offered its steadfast support and contribution to the Pauls Valley community, it would certainly be impossible for anyone to overestimate the number and reach of the benevolent and life-improving effects that have been born of the Grimmett family's generosity and devotion to the local communities served by Pauls Valley National Bank. Over the decades, Pauls Valley National Bank has been instrumental in preserving and improving their communities public schools, athletics, extra-curricular activities and education, not only through monetary donations, but also through their personal - and often self-sacrificing-involvement in the school system: they were the founders of the Pauls Valley Foundation for Academic Excellence which provides teachers and students with grant funds and scholarships and remain one of the largest donors each year. The Bank owners and its employees have served in their communities as members of the Board of Education, civic clubs, Chamber of Commerce, various churches and volunteered as coaches for our youth's little league teams; they attend athletic booster club meetings, teacher conferences, sporting events, academic assemblies, band concerts, FFA premium sales and much more. The Pauls Valley National Bank’s owners are not distant, faceless benefactors; they are actively involved community members who prize, nurture and join lovingly into the familiar closely-knit atmosphere of the communities they serve including Pauls Valley, Davis, and Elmore. They are friends who also happen to be community bankers. Today’s banking environment is largely made up of bigger corporate banks being bought by, and merged into, even larger corporations. Pauls Valley National Bank continues to grow as a full-service Bank offering products and technology to meet current financial needs while still maintaining its community bank status with five locations to serve its customers on a personal level.
